Boots on the Ground. BOTG provides 24/7 trained peer-to-peer support for first responders across Ontario. This includes retired and serving Police Officers, Firefighters, EMS and Corrections Officers across the Province along with civilian members of these organizations. Need help? Mississippi Madawaska Land Trust. MMLT’s mission is “To legally protect and steward private lands having ecological, biodiverse, aesthetic, and cultural value and to foster engagement with wilderness.”

There are four properties open to the public for hiking and snowshoeing. They are; Blueberry Mountain, High Lonesome Nature Reserve, Poole Family Nature Sanctuary, and Rose Hill Nature Reserve

MMLT also offers a variety of events and fundraisers throughout the year in support of their conservation efforts.
