Contest: Win Tosca Reno’s Clean Eating Books!

Today is all about winning FREE Tosca Reno books! The Eat-Clean Diet isn’t really a diet, it’s a lifestyle change.Β  It about choices, health and finally putting yourself first.

Ever since I’ve stopped eating processed foods, stayed clear of anything white (rice, pasta, sugars), started drinking more water, incorporating more vegetables, and eating more often – I’ve been happier, healthier and have the energy to train harder!Β  I no longer crave junk foods or sugars, there’s no more binging, my skin is healthier, I’ve lost weight, and I feel better!

To learn more about eating clean, visit Tosca Reno and The Eat-Clean Diet team online. πŸ™‚Β  There’s a wealth of great information on those sites! I’m always available as well to help when I can (via email, Twitter or Facebook), and posting my own clean recipes and tidbits on Fridays (Friday Are For Foodies).

If you’re curious, need a lifestyle change or have just started clean eating – this contest is for you! If fact, there’s TWO packages you could win.

I urned 42 this month…I started eating clean 35 days ago…i have…as of this morning lost 10.2 lbs and have more energy than I remember having in a long time! It was difficult at first, but now its easy! I prepare all my work lunches on the weekend to take the daily guesswork out of it, I use my fitness pal and count every calorie and track all my nutritional values, I bought coconut oil for the first time this weekend and LOVE it! I love your pages, your recipes and Tosca Reno and clean eating has been such a huge inspiration to me…my son bought me a “your best body now” Tosca Reno book for my birthday, my first one and certainly wont be my last…:) Thank you!!

    • That’s an incredible transformation Tina! You must be insanely proud and happy with the results of clean eating so far πŸ™‚ Congrats! Once you get a grasp of clean eating, it’s amazing how much tastier foods taste, how many options are available and how much better you feel! I use fitness pal as well most times, feel free to add me (username: GirlGoneGood). Oh, coconut and avocado oil are pretty much all I use anymore! Love it. πŸ™‚

    • Love you’re new “Just Do It” attitude Janette! πŸ™‚ It took me a few weeks, and tumbles before getting a grasp on clean eating…my best advice is to read everything (articles, websites, nutrition labels), try a new recipe a week, and just enjoy! Clean eating is fabulous and the lifestyle is worth it!

  6. Love your adventures. If I decide to eat clean, does that mean giving up Caramilk ice cream and M&Ms?

  13. Vicky, your site is amazing! You have grown so much from when we first met! I must say, I love the Tosca Reno cookbooks… I might have shown you it before but there is another really awesome book written by a registered Dietician called ‘Skinny Chicks don’t eat salads’ and its pretty much exactly the same except she tells you why in terms of how your body digests things. (I find that Tosca’s books are missing some of that info) If you want to meet up sometime we can swop books and recipes!! =) =) P.S. I love reading about your adventures! They keep me motivated!!

    • What a difference a year (two) makes eh? πŸ˜‰ I’d love to come over for coffee and you can show me these great books! Learning what to eat, why, when, etc…is phenomenally interesting!

  14. I love your site because I’m also eating clean, as a result of getting really sick over the past several years. Your site motivates me to see the positive in life, and supports me in continuing on the right path, as there is so much out there to discover (your travels). Learning the right ways to get healthy is the most valuable lessons someone can learn! Thank you for being such a great motivation Vicky!!

    • Woohoo! Eliminating processed foods and refined sugars from our diets does a WORLD of good doesn’t it?! More energy, healthy bodies, easier time sleeping, less sickness…it amazing how great it feels to eat whole foods. πŸ™‚ Keep the positive outlook Christine, the world is yours! πŸ˜‰

  15. Rebecca Visscher says:

I love your site. I struggle to eat clean consistently because I am also cooking for 3 guys at home (one 4 years old and PICKY, one autistic, and a construction worker). I love the motivational photographs and positive “pick me ups”. You are an inspiration and I truly enjoy coming along on your journey.

    • Thanks Becky! I love having you along for the journey, and it’s certainly NOT easy to always eat clean but it’s great to keep at it and conscience of our food choices. I always looked up to you growing up (you were always kind, confident and happy) so I’m glad I can return the favour every so often here. πŸ™‚
